Fusion 360 Initials and Materials
ARC are my initials and each letter is placed 25mm apart, with a total of 50mm. The images above represent the lofting process,
The middle letter of my initial (R) was placed a bit higher and slanted, from the first and last letter to add dimension and interesting curves as depicted above.
Next, once I had a solid and connected form I shelled my object to 1.5mm so the letters could be better outlined and shown.
Experimenting with materials
Differentiating Cool light (left) and Warm light (right) effects
Shiny finish (left) and Matte finish (right)
Placing the object in a backdrop/ scene alters lighting, reflection and shadows casted.
Playing with different materials eg. gold, rose gold, cream leather fabric on the inside and a shiny finish to reflect my individual style.
End results, overall by experimenting and placing a scene it makes the reflection of materials very interesting and mesmerising , however realistically when presenting this object I would keep it simple with a standard light source so it is easy to visualise and/or suit a range of stakeholders.
