Week 8- Part 2 Materials in 3D models

Visual representation of materials in drawings and in 3D models

1. Extraversion- By altering this my model in photoshop I wanted to enhance energy, a colourful neon colour scheme, summer vibes and a strong social setting to reflect my individuality. I love summer and I very much enjoy the company of others, thus I drew inspiration for my materials from my favourite things to do example swimming, seeing palm trees at the beach, watching the sun set and spending time with friends/ family.

2. Nature- For this visual representation of myself I wanted to reflect the materials on my love for wide open spaces and mother nature, as it uplifts my spirit and my desire to travel. For the balcony of my room I have made it a reflective glass to complement the environment as well as wood/timber for the walls so it is light  and the sticks below are able to hold the weight of my room steadily (opposed to brick/concrete). Additionally by choosing transparent glass it allows for natural lighting and enhances my interest in looking out to an amazing view.

3. The Bright Side- This photoshopped image aims to highlight my personality trait of optimism in complex times. Communicated within the use of various bright colours such as green, blue, yellow etc. reflects positivity while the different patterns, directions and geometric shapes reflect complex situations. My personality consists of visualising the brighter side of things and having a cheerful attitude. A birds eye view enables a clear view of the scale figure moving towards the stairs, plant life and shelter (which affects lighting).
